    Default Minnesota @ New Orleans

The 2010 NFL season kicks off with a bang when Minnesota travels to New Orleans this Thursday night in a rematch of last year's NFC Championship.

    New Orleans -4.5 -110
    49u-110

From what I have seen of the Vikings in the preseason the Saints should roll in this one. Unless they find someone for Favre to throw the ball to, Minnesota is in trouble this year.

I have the line as high as 5 points in some books as the early money is on the Saints. I think New Orleans by 7 or more is a solid pick.

I think the Vikings will show better in this one than they did in preseason, and if they can get Peterson revving, the Saints could have some issues trying to stop the run. I think it will be close with New Orleans winning by a touchdown.

I still question whether Minnesota ever gets on track this season. The Vikings are putting way too much weight on Favre's 40 year old shoulders.
