I have already gone out on a limb and picked the Texans in the AFC South. They have the talent and seem ready to put it all together and have a break out season. Tennessee and Indianapolis are a bit over rated and Jacksonville is headed in the wrong direction.

I too like the Texans but I can't trust them yet. They have arguably the most explosive offense in football after the Chargers and Patriots, but I don't trust this team to win meaningful games. They play really well when nothing is on the line, which makes me wonder if Kubiak is just a good coordinator and not a good coach.

You would think, since the Colts haven't had a losing season since 2001.

But in the air there are winds of change....hot winds blowing out of Texas.

I think Jacksonville could be a really good option this year. They grossly underperformed last year but have upgrade WR with Holt and the defense should still be nice and strong especially having Mathis back for a full season. A weaker schedule won't hurt either.

Jacksonville doesn't have anything in the passing game. Torry Holt? Marcedes Lewis?

Underrated loss by Jacksonville as the loss of their defensive coordinator, Mike Smith. That defense was soft like a kitty last year.

Jacksonville is going to go down in history as that "other" team in the AFC south.

They'll forever hang onto Toni Boselli, Jimmy Smith and Fred Taylor as their franchise guys, but what did that ever get them?

The Jaguars are showing their age as I think their window of opportunity is officially shut.

Look for Jack De Rio to be on the top of "coaches on the hot seat" list as the season progresses.

The Texans are much improved and they scare me a little, but I still think this is the Colts' division. You can never, ever, ever, count out Peyton Manning. I think their draft pick (UConn RB Donald Brown) will make an impact for them too, a nice complement to bandaid Addai.

Sidenote: I always thought Fred Taylor was awesome. He toiled in blackout-prone JAX for many a year.
