I'm not ready to jump back on the Patriots bandwagon just yet. It is tough to come back from a severe knee injury and play at the high level Brady is a customed to.

There are some other teams like Philly and San Diego that are on the rise and primed to finally break through with a Super Bowl win.

yeah, i must admit san diego scares me a lot
philly could be good, dallas could be good, giants could be up there, hell the entire NFC East is like the A.L. East in baseball

I agree that whomever wins the NFC East will be the odds on favorite to win the NFC.

The AFC could have some surprises but you know that New England will be firmly in the mix. I still not ready to punch their ticket to Miami until I see that Brady is close to 100%.

I still think the Colts are somehow under the radar...won their last nine games last season and their offense should be better if the running game gets back on track.

Agreed re: the NFC East being key, but the Vikings can't be forgotten either...

The Colts haven't had a losing season since 2001 so you know they will be in the mix. If they can make a smooth transition from the Tony Dungy era they have as good a chance as anyone in the AFC.

As long as they stick with Tavaias Jackson at QB they will be average at best, Adrian Peterson cannot run the ball every play. I'm not sure that Favre is the answer, but I know Jackson is not.

I ilke the Bears with Cutler and for a bit of longer shot, the Cowboys without TO.

What's with the Eagles' odds being so high? I've seen books that rank them second behind New England. A bit much for an old team with an injury-prone offense.

Don't worry about the Eagles down the stretch. They had the best off season of any team in the NFC as far as improving their team. You can't say that about the Cowboys or the Giants.
