    My prediction is that the Cardinals will not win this division. Past Super Bowl losers have a history of going in the tank the following season.

    It will be a battle between Seattle and San Francisco. The 49ers are primed to have a break out season.

    I wouldn't count the Cards out but yeah, I could see Seattle bouncing back in a big way...

    I agree that on paper the Cards should still win this division, however in the last six years, only one team who lost the Super Bowl, won their division the following year;
    Seattle in 2006, with a 9-7 record

    The other 5 teams didn't even make the playoffs.

    I think it has to be the Cards. They got a nice addition in Wells at RB who should give them more from that spot and better balance.

    Seahawks have a healthy Matt Hasselbeck back..he only played 6 games last year. Unless I"m missing something it will help to have a 3 time Pro Bowler back behind center...dontcha think?

    Arizona doesn't scare me at all, Warner's another year older, and I believe Jim Mora will have an immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball for the Seahawks...

    The X-Factor is the RBBC they'll have in Seattle between TJ Duckett (short yardage), J. Jones, and 2nd year CAL RB...Justin Forsett.

    I said it before and I'll say it again, the Cards will NOT win the AFC West. They had their moment in the hot Phoenix sun.

    This division is prime for someone like Seattle to get back to winning form, or for San Francisco to have a break out season.

    Don't forget that Arizona was trash until the playoffs. They were 6-0 in the division and only won eight games.

    Seattle is very strong this year, particularly on defense. With Hasselbeck healthy, we all know what their offense can do and now they've added T.J. Who'syourmama and John Carlson has developed as a legit tight end. If Deion Branch steps up and the running game is reliable, this could be the best offense in the NFC.

    I'm really impressed with the defense though. They swap out and aging Julian Peterson for a dominating Corey Redding. Their defensive line is now very strong.

    Don't forget, they also added Aaron Curry in the draft, who might be the biggest playmaker of this year's defensive class. The secondary is reliable - this is an easy good, value play to win the division - love it.

    The Rams suck...the 49ers Suck...the Cardinals overachieved in a shitty division and have a QB older than dirt. This division swings back to the rightful owners.... Seachickens all the way

    i have no faith in the niners until they show me something tangible. i agree the safe pick here is Seattle, they have an eye-popping linebacker corps
