When it gets down to the last few picks, I'm wondering how many players are hoping their name doesn't get called for that infamous last pick. I guess you get your 15 mins of fame, but I would rather have it in another way.

No one wants to be the last pick. You are guaranteed nothing. If you go undrafted, you have 31 other teams you could workout for and possibly make a roster. If you get drafted you only have 1 shot...until they cut you and then it is almost too late to make a roster for that year.

Kickers are different though.

this guy could go practice squad who knows...still likely more than you and I make per week...I'm assuming...

Not bad for your day job though, kickin balls around the Chiefs practice facility...though I'd rather be in Miami - LA - NY - Seattle or somewhere's else on the coast...I still wonder why people stay in the midwest...BORING. Sorry if this offends...just sayin
