Apr 25-26: NFL Draft (New York)
May 18-20: Spring Meetings (Fort Lauderdale)
June 28-July 1: Rookie Symposium (Palm Beach)
Mid-July: Training Camps Open
Aug 9: Hall of Fame Game (Bills vs. Titans)
Aug 13-17: Opening Preseason Weekend
Sept 1: Roster cutdown to maximum of 75 players
Sept 5: Roster cutdown to maximum of 53 players
Sept 10-14: Kickoff 2009 Weekend
Feb 7: Super Bowl XLIV (Miami)

The Super Bowl keeps getting later and later. If they start adding some extra regular season games and another possible bye week, pretty soon they will be playing until March.

I'm chompin at the bit so bad for the season to start, I'm actually excited about the Hall of Fame Game.

Is it just me or are seasons in all pro leagues going longer every year? It seems like it...

Do not forget to add the Pro Bowl to this list as it has been moved up to the Sunday(January 31st) before the Super Bowl to give all of us football junkies something to talk about this week.
