Icon27 Your Top 5 NFL Mock Draft

Give me your top 5 guys this Saturday...and I'll share with you mine...well I'll share anyways, here we go. (List is made assuming there are no trades)

    1. DETROIT LIONS
    Matthew Stafford, QB

Taking a QB in Round 1 comes with risk, but Detroit needs this kid, and if he's even 75% as good as Matt Ryan was for the Falcons this is a GREAT pick for the Lions.

    2. ST. LOUIS RAMS
    Jason Smith, OT

Insert a picture of Marc Bulger laying on Edward Jones Dome Turf after 90% of his team's throwing downs last year! (this is why they pick Smith). Plus Pace is gone.

    3. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
    Aaron Curry, OLB

Best LB in the draft, and he'll help in KC immediately. Him and Vrabel is an INSTANT upgrade over the other nonames KC has thrown out there the last few years.

    4. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
    Eugene Monroe, OT

Hasselbeck is happy with his receiving corps (Minus his go2guy Bobby Engram signing w/ the Chiefs) so the Hawks will look to bolster their O-Line and bring in hall of famer Walter Jone's eventual replacement.

    5. CLEVELAND BROWNS
    Michael Crabtree, WR

Mike would give the Dawg Pound another much-needed aerial weapon. I hope they don't trade Edwards this week though

    Default

    Detroit - Matthew Stafford QB
A player they can't afford to pass on as they need to re energize this franchise

    Rams-Eugene Monroe OT
I give Monroe a slight edge over Jason Smith

    Chiefs- Aaron Curry LB
He is the best available athlete in this draft

    Seattle- Jason Smith OT
The second best tackle in the draft doesn't last too much longer

    Cleveland-Jeremy Maclin WR
Browns get spooked on Crabtrees foot injury and take the next best available WR
