LT Signs with the Chargers!!!!

LaDainian Tomlinson renegotiates contract, will return to San Diego Chargers in 2009 - ESPN

L.T. and the Chargers agreed to a renegotiated deal that gives the team salary cap relief. The Chargers confirmed the agreement Tuesday night. Financial terms weren't immediately available.

The deal ends a two-month saga during which it looked like Tomlinson, the 2006 NFL MVP, could be finished with the Chargers.

This is the right move for San Diego. No way should they be pulling an Emmitt Smith here with LT. He's just TOO much to let go via FA.

It is great to see when a team and a player who wants to stay with that team are able to work something out, especially when it is long time veteran. I happy for LT getting a chance to stay in San Diego.
