Baltimore Ravens -7 over CINCINNATI BENGALS
The Bengals are facing extinction in the worst way. With no playoff hope in sight, Carson Palmer sidelined with an elbow injury and Chad Johnson causing trouble again, the Bengals have fallen in to obscurity from a sports betting standpoint. The Bengals are averaging a 13.5 point per game average because they have no running game to speak of. Sorry, Cedric Benson, but you’re just not cutting it.
The Ravens, on the other hand, are presenting a balanced and conservative offense that is bringing balance to a team that has been admired for its defense. The Ravens average a point differential of +6.5 and are rushing for 144.0 yards per game. Going 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games, including 4-2 ATS in their last 6 roadies, will help put some confidence in to the betting community that is worried that the Bengals might find their groove after a twelve day rest. With the distraction that Ocho Cinqo has provided, the Bengals won’t have enough energy to focus on a spread victory…or a regular straight up win.
