Reevaluating Green Bay This Season

Brett Favre did not show up for training today and in my opinion this will effect odds for the Green Bay Packers this season. I know I will certainly be looking at my odds sheets again closely to see how much of an effect its going to have.

This is turning into a "GONG SHOW".

He (Favre) has signed the letter seeking reinstatement to the Packers, but I've read he may not send it to the NFL until Monday or Tuesday.

He also has admitted in a telephone interview that he did not report to the Packers' camp Sunday with the rest of the team in part cuz GM Thompson pleaded with him to delay his arrival.

AHHHH the drama that is the NFL

Personally I hope he comes back to some team. The NFL is better with Favre playing.

Favre absolutely has in immediate impact on the futures of whatever team he ends up playing for, if any at all. Right now we hear Tampa Bay most often as well as the Jets. Not sure the Jets are just Favre away from a Superbowl and in the AFC East aren't likely to unseed the Pats for the division crown but the season total wins changes quickly I'm guessing. Tampa MIGHT be Favre away from at least competing for the division. Not certain they're a Superbowl team yet but they certainly take a step closer. And if this thing turns all the way around and Favre ends up the starting QB for GB they become a popular and pretty decent pick for the NFC Title and a trip to the Superbowl.
