While the Cleveland Browns, (10-6 SU, 12-4 ATS, 9-6-1 O/U) recorded a surprising 10-6 record in 2007 and narrowly missed out on reaching the 2007 playoffs, the Browns certainly won’t be sneaking up on anyone in 2008, though the team did add several veteran free agent players this offseason in the hopes of, not only reaching the postseason in 2008, but causing some damage once they reach their stated destination. It's not uncommon for a team, particularly a young team, who had a surprisingly successful season the prior year to take a step backwards the next year as they don't bring the passion and fire to every play that got them the solid season a year ago. Then having learned their lesson they rise again in the 3rd year. Could be the case with the Browns, down this season but watch out next year!
