Customer Service:
DonBest gets the nod here. They have been in the business the longest and provide 24 hour customer support by a knowledgeable and experienced staff. There is simply nothing better in the business.
SportsOptions gets the goose egg. Phone support is handled by, “Can I get your name and number? We will have someone phone you back.” Emails do not get responded to for many hours and sometimes days.
G&J Update gets our AVIS, “We Try Harder” Award. Sonny and Gino will always their best to help in any way they can.
LinesMover received the same Customer Service score as G&J.
Refund Policies:
DonBest gets the goose egg. Many, in this business, sign up for DonBest by the year and many signed up for the year last July and August. When football season arrived, there was no Cris, Cascade or Greek on the board. Refund requests were not honored.
G&J Update gets a low score here because they do not have a “refund policy” but they will work with you.
SportsOptions and LinesMover both get the top grade in this category. Both have a no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee.
User Interface:
DonBest gets our steady as she goes award. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
SportsOptions gets the top spot with some great technology and a solid program.
LinesMover wins our Rocco Mediate award for 2nd place.
G&J Update has a long way to go here. Good news is that they know this and are developing a new program that should be released prior to the start of football season.
News Updates:
DonBest and SportsOptions are beyond a doubt the fastest at reporting injuries and related information.
LinesMover is just a few seconds behind. But every second counts in this business.
G&J Update needs to improve.
Scores:
DonBest, SportsOptions and LinesMover all get a score of 5. Fast, accurate and reliable.
G&J Update gets a 3 due to numerous errors during the last 12 months.
Longevity:
DonBest has been around forever and they aren't going anywhere.
G& J Update has also been around long enough to warrent a high score.
Sports Options is only a year old and Linesmover is even younger.
Monthly Cost:
The monthly cost, of a lines service, is similar to paying for a tout service.
You are paying the vig twice.
DonBest gets the goose egg at $600 per month.
Rounding out the top four is G&J Update at $350, SportsOptions at $299 and LinesMover at $288.

I have NO DOUBT that these scores will change dratically in some cases we get closer to the NFL season. I just wanted to give an unbiased review of how I see the competition amongst the Line Servives today after traveling to Costa Rica last week...
