New York Jets owner Woody Johnson announced on Tuesday that president Jay Cross will step down from his position at the end of June to become president of Related Hudson Yards in Manhattan.
Johnson also announced Matt Higgins, Thad Sheely and Mike Tennenbaum as executive vice presidents.
Cross was the driving force behind the Jets' new training facilities in Florham Park, NJ and their $1.3 billion, 82,500-seat stadium in the Meadowlands -- still shared with the Giants -- set to open for the 2010 campaign.
