This is a tough spot for a KC team in rebuild mode, this is a tough spot for any team. But....this is a huge line, even for New England. Super Bowl hangover? Perhaps - but more likely some Super Bowl anger after they let perfection slip away. Look for the Pats to run the ball early and often as they absolutely control this game. KC will try to run with LJ to keep the damage (mental and physical) to Brody Croyle to a minimum and I'm guessing the Pats will expect this. Only chance the Chiefs might have had to cover was to catch NE in a let down but on opening day at home this seems very unlikely. Expect the Pats to be the play here.
