Default Vikings waive oft-injured James
The Minnesota Vikings waived oft-injured defensive end Erasmus James on Friday after he failed a physical.

James was a 2005 first-round draft pick who played in 15 games during his rookie season but toiled in just eight games combined in the last two seasons due to a series of knee problems.
