Default how do you make your picks?

How do you choose which players are in your picks? Do you do it by odds or do you choose your favorite players? I personally do a bit of both

In head to head player matchup odds, I usually avoid this all together except for Nascar betting, then I usually just use the qualifying results as a tool for who to bet on, as for head to head player matchup betting in golf I usually just use a "gut" feeling.

    I never bet on my favorite teams/players, that's bad....gets to emotional...LOL

That sounds like a good method to go about it.

I have a tendency to want to bet on my favorites, and I sometimes do. It does get emotional, but sometimes I end up getting lucky with it.

I have betted on my favorites before, though I have heard from those more experienced than me that it's just not a good idea. I haven't been completely unfortunate, but I'm definitely not a very big winner. That might be part of the reason why.

I look at a little bit of everything, I don't base my decisions completely on which teams / players are my favorite, or what everybody else says would be the best choice. I have my own little formula. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
