Nuggets, Warriors continue battle for last playoff berth

The Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors continue to battle for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference, as the teams meet tonight at ORACLE Arena.

Golden State and the Nuggets are tied for eighth place in the West, two games behind the seventh-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the standings.

Denver is 2-1 against the Warriors this season, and defeated Golden State, 124-120, on December 28 at ORACLE Arena. The teams split a pair of contests at the Pepsi Center.

The Nuggets have won two of three and three of their last five at Golden State.

The Warriors play the middle contest of a three-game homestand. On Tuesday, Baron Davis finished with 33 points, five rebounds and nine assists as Golden State earned a 140-132 victory over the Sacramento Kings.
