The Northwest Division champion Utah Jazz try to extend their winning streak to five games when they visit the Dallas Mavericks tonight at American Airlines Center.
The Jazz are the fourth seed in the Western Conference and are one game behind the Lakers and Spurs, while Dallas is No. 7 and is two games ahead of Denver and Golden State.
Utah is 2-1 against the Mavericks this season, and has won four of the last six contests overall in the series. The Jazz, who have captured the last two meetings with the Mavericks, have lost eight of nine and 10 of their last 12 at Dallas.
The Jazz wrap up a two-game road trip. Mehmet Okur posted a double-double with 22 points and 17 rebounds as Utah defeated the New Orleans Hornets, 77-66, at New Orleans Arena and clinched its second consecutive Northwest Division crown.
Carlos Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko and Paul Millsap all registered 10 points for the Jazz, who have captured seven of their last eight games overall. Deron Williams dished out a game-high 16 assists in the victory.
Utah is 17-22 on the road this season, and will play its final game of the regular season as the visitor on April 16 against San Antonio at the AT&T Center.
