(My Sportsbook) - The Orlando Magic will open a short road trip this afternoon, when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.
Orlando, which is seeded third in the East standings, will also visit the New York Knicks on the current trek, and is 24-13 away from Amway Arena in 2007-08. The Magic have dropped three of their last four games overall, including Tuesday's 98-97 home setback to the New Orleans Hornets.
Hedo Turkoglu had 26 points and Rashard Lewis finished with 24 for the Magic, who have already clinched the Southeast Division title. Dwight Howard finished with 17 points and 15 boards in defeat.
In injury news for the Magic, point guard Jameer Nelson is probable for Saturday's game with a bruised jaw and concussion-like symptoms. The former Saint Joseph's standout has missed the last two games.
Cleveland will resume a three-game homestand on Saturday, and is 25-12 as the host this season. It had a two-game winning streak stopped in the opener of the homestand on Thursday versus Chicago, as LeBron James scored 33 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas ended with 23 in a 101-98 setback.
Delonte West had 11 points and Wally Szczerbiak netted 10 for the Cavaliers, who are No. 4 in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Cleveland is 5 1/2 games behind Orlando for the third spot with six games left on its schedule.
