Atlanta is No. 8 in the Eastern Conference playoff race, and is 2 1/2 games ahead of New Jersey for the final playoff berth in the conference.
The Hawks defeated the Grizzlies, 86-78, on December 8 at Philips Arena. The Hawks have won three in a row in the series and are 5-6 at the Grizzlies.
Atlanta enters tonight's contest on a three-game winning streak. Marvin Williams scored 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Hawks increased their playoff chances with a 114-109 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday at Philips Arena.
Joe Johnson poured in 25 points and dished out 13 assists, while rookie Al Horford netted 18 and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds for Atlanta, which will host Toronto on Wednesday and Philadelphia on Friday.
The Hawks are a dismal 9-27 on the road this season. They have lost two in a row as the visitor.
