    Cavs acquire Shaq from Suns

LeBron and Shaq. Teammates. The sports world is saying this creates a tandem that instantly rivals some of the great duos in NBA history: Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bob Cousy and Bill Russell, Shaq himself and Kobe Bryant.

Personally I don't compare this to any of those dynamic dou's.

Sure, O'Neal-LeBron is a strong duo, but Shaq is going to be 38 during the season next year. Even though he's an athletic phenomenon, there's no way a guy his size, his weight and his age doesn't have injury trouble.

I could see him being out for potentially a lengthy period of time next season.

Good point. I think the Cavs could have done better.
