Reasons why the Clippers/Nuggets game goes OVER the Total:

1.) L.A. can’t stop anybody, and Denver cannot be stopped. The Clippers have allowed 100 or more points in 10 of their last 11 games, and 14 of their last 16. Denver has scored 101 or more points in 11 consecutive games now. This contest has all the making of a shootout tonight.

2.) In their last 6 meetings, the Nuggets and Clippers have combined to score more than 200 points in all 6 games. They’ve combined to score 211 or more in 5 of the 6 meetings, and 214 or more in 4 of the 6 meetings. This is typically a high-scoring rivalry, and with the Clippers being forced to play small ball we expect that to continue tonight. L.A. will be without two big inside presences in Marcus Camby and Al Thornton. Camby is a former NBA Defensive Player of the Year so not having him on the floor will allow the Nuggets to do basically whatever they want to offensively. The Clippers have great guards with the likes of Baron Davis, Eric Gordon and Mike Taylor who will be able to get up and down the floor tonight and score points.
