So I know I've had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don't play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS.

Oklahoma City Thunder +5 over Portland Trail Blazers

The Thunder have been bad this year, particularly on defense, but I like that they've exceeded most oddsmakers expectations by continuing to win against the spread. The Thunder are just 14-23 in home games this year, but they've managed a 19-16 mark against the spread (likewise they are 21-53 overall and 41-31 ATS this season). Tonight OKC hosts the Portland Trail Blazers, who have won 3 in a row at home, but hit the road for the first of a 4-game trip tonight. This isn't good news for the Blazers, who are just 16-20 straight up and ATS on the road this year. I also like the fact that the Thunder are coming off of an upset as a 13-point underdog in San Antonio. This young team doesn't have much to play for, but that victory shows me they are not phoning it in for the rest of their season.
