At 10:30 pm, our complimentary selection is on the Golden State Warriors minus the points over the Los Angeles Clippers. In its last game, also at home, Golden State surrendered a season-high 154 points to the Phoenix Suns, and lost 154-130. The Warriors were favored by 1.5 points in that game, so they failed to cover by a whopping 25.5 points.
However, since 1990, NBA teams cover over 74% at home off a home game in which they failed to cover by 25 or more points, if they're matched up against a foe off exactly one win. Even though Golden State will be without Stephen Jackson tonight (he was suspended for drawing his 16th technical foul), we'll step in and take the Warriors minus the points.
Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
