Golden State Warriors -2 over WASHINGTON WIZARDS
The Wizards are still only 1-10 SU this season, and while the Warriors aren’t a strong play this season, the Wizards are far worse. Washington has not only gone 0-5 SU in their last 5 games, they’ve only covered once in that span. With players coming vehemently admitting that this team can not roll without Gilbert Arenas, whom the offense is designed around, it doesn’t exactly bolster any sports betting faith. The Wizards have averaged a -8.8 point differential this season.
Golden State has rewarded Steven Jackson with a three-year extension after he’s led the Warriors with 21.9 points per game and been a model season since punching out Turtle from “Entourage” in the infamous Malice At The Palace. Now that he’s getting a proven scoring threat in Jamal Crawford, the Warriors are turning their ship around. On the horizon is the impending return of Moped Ellis and you have a Warrior team that could return to the high-scoring, high-flying circus that we all enjoyed the past few seasons.
While the Warriors are only 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games, they’re 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games when playing Washington. Golden State is the seventh best road scoring team, rocking the rim for 98.7 points per game and look like a solid play tonight with a tight line over Washington.
