Sixers to Prove New York’s Futility on Road

Mike D’Antoni’s tenure with the Knicks got off to a quick start as the Knicks surprised the Miami Heat, who are still looking for a semblance of identity. The Knicks put Eddy Curry and Starbury on the bench, and still managed to drop 120 points on the Heat. With the Sixers coming off a loss to Toronto in Canada, they’ll be looking for revenge. While I’m not sold on the Sixers long-term perseverance, they’re still one of the best bets when playing at home. Philadelphia has gone 5-1 ATS in their last six meeting with the Knicks. Ignore the betting stats that suggest Philly is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 at home. Those were playoff games where they got thumped.
