Nuggets trade away only pick in draft

The Denver Nuggets traded their only remaining pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, the 20th overall selection, to the Charlotte Bobcats for a future protected first-round pick Wednesday.

The protection clause means that the Nuggets will not receive the first-round pick in a year that the Bobcats' selection falls into a lottery slot, which would be a top-14 pick.
