With 2007-08 NBA Finals betting set to take place on Thursday night, BetUS online NBA basketball betting fans can get their fill of NBA online pro basketball sports wagering by taking a look at the ingenious proposition (Props) odds that the clever oddsmakers at BetUS have once again conjured up for the BetUS NBA online betting community.
As usual, I always advise online sports bettors that props wagering, regardless of the sports, is often the most exciting wager a bettors can make as the multiple choices of wagers that make up the game within the game generally tend to leave sports betting enthusiasts on the edge of their respective seats throughout whatever sporting event they’ve decided to place a sports wager on.
In this case, that would be the 2007-08 NBA Finals between arguably, the two most historic franchises in NBA history.
Here is a look at several of the NBA Championship Props Odds for Game 1 of the NBA Championship Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers, (12-3 SU, 10-4 ATS, 5-10 O/U) and Boston Celtics, (12-8 SU, 8-12 ATS, 9-11 O/U).
Total Made Free Throws K Bryant
Over 7˝ Made Free Throws -105
Under 7˝ Made Free Throws -135
Analysis: Don’t ask me why Bryant is getting to the free throw line lately since he’s been one of the best ever at drawing fouls and getting to the line. However, in the Lakers Western Conference Finals matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, Bryant’s free throw makes went like this in Games 1 through 5. 4, 1, 0, 0 and 5 free throws made. I say Bryant sticks with his new credo of not getting to the line as often and makes Under 7˝ free throws in Game 1 of the Finals.
Free Pick: Under 7˝ Free Throws Made
Double Result
Lakers ~ Lakers +150
Tie ~ Lakers +1600
Celtics ~ Lakers +450
Lakers ~ Celtics +400
Tie ~ Celtics +1600
Celtics ~ Celtics -125
Analysis: I’ll keep this pick simple for the BetUS online NBA betting community and just say that I like the Celtics to win Game 1 but the Lakers to cover the spread.
Free Pick: Celtics To Win, Lakers To Cover Spread
Total Points& Rebounds K Perkins
Over 14˝ Points+Rebounds -110
Under 14˝ Points+Rebounds -130
Analysis: Believe it or not, Perkins could be the key to whether or not the Celtics actually hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy or not. Perkins averaged 9.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Detroit Pistons and should be able to put up even better numbers against a lesser defensive in the Lakers. While I’ve ripped Perkins repeatedly this season, it’s clear to see that this kid, drafted right out of high school, is playing his best basketball of the season at just the right time.
Free Pick: Over 14˝ Combined Points and Rebounds
Total Points&Rebounds K Garnett
Over 30˝ Points+Rebounds -130
Under 30˝ Points+Rebounds -110
Analysis: The 22.8 points and 9.6 rebounds per game that Garnett averaged against the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals, tell me that he’s going to top this props odds of 30 ˝ combined points and rebounds in Game 1. Lest anyone forget, the Lakers are not, repeat, not, a defensive power in the same class as the Pistons.
Free Pick: Over 30˝ Total Points+Rebounds
Total Points Scored J Posey
Over 6˝ Points -105
Under 6˝ Points -135
Analysis: Posey’s contributions to the Celtics certainly can’t be measured in points alone, but since this is the wager we’re dealing with, I like Posey to score more than six points in Game 1 as he should see plenty of court time trying to guard Kobe Bryant for stretches of the game. Posey averaged just over six points per game against the Pistons and should get a couple of good three-point opportunities in Game 1 of this matchup. I like the Over here for Posey.
Free Pick: Over 6˝ Total Points
Total 3 Pt Shots Scored
Over 13 3 Pt Shots -120
Under 13 3 Pt Shots -120
Analysis: The Celtics averaged 4.3 made three-pointer per game against the Pistons while Los Angeles bombed the San Antonio Spurs with their terrific offense, making 5.0 threes’ per contest. Sounds like online basketball bettors have a ‘lock’ props pick here if you ask me. Take the Under – easily.
