I really didn't even know how old Gordon was (36) until I looked him up. I thought he was way younger.

I personally don't feel like anybody is really "too old" to be on the track until they just have no talent left.

Well, I think that Nascar is one of the only sports you can keep participating in until you're well past your prime (even though you do need to keep in shape), so I'm not sure that I think any are too old to be one the track.

You're never too old to drive, at least that's what I think. I think any of these guys could drive until they're 80 and they'd still be winning races.

But man does it get old watching them go round and round. I vote for more road coarses in Nascar. F1 and Indy Car (CART series) have it right with their road coarses, its so much more interesting to watch, just my .02c.

A change in the tracks would be interesting but I'm not sure thats anything they are willing to change. I watch a good deal of international races like some of the crazy motor sports in Ireland and the UK just for the fact that they have no circle to fool around with, its almost always something new each time. I dont think anyone gets tired of just one driver but more end up wondering how long they will be around for and what else they can bring to the race.

The track does get boring after so long, but at the same time I don't think it's something that will ever change. I will continue to watch and be a fan regardless though.

There's no need to change the track or drivers at this point. The tracks might get boring to watch if there's nothing else going on, but it can be exciting if you really focus on certain drivers and their techniques. It took me a long time to get interested.

I wasn't talking about age people. I meant "getting old" as in when you hear about them instead of thinking "all right!" like you used to you think "huh, thats cool".

I think the age of the driver doesnt really matter since sometimes you can see young people get bored real quick and just kind of give up. I also can see some older drivers doing even better each year they go around. Maybe your question is a toss up for me, but I think as long as the driver has heart thats all that matters besides getting the job done.
