Default Do you go to races?

Do you like to go to Nascar races, or are you more of an "at home" watcher? What races have you been to, and did you get more out of the experience than just watching at home?

I've been to one race, and do plan on going back next time they come back to Fontana, and I definitely enjoyed attending the race live than watching it on TV. The only thing I really don't like is the crowds of people, but then again, who does?

I'm not a fan of crowds either, but I won't turn down Nascar tickets if I find them cheap. I've been to Fontana once in the past, but I had horrible seats. Next time I hope to have a better experience.

Just how horrible were these seats? I can't imagine any seats being that horrible at Fontana, that track is gorgeous. Where were you sitting, or was it more so the people in your area?

I have never been but plan to in the next year. A friend of mine has gotten me into some races more than I have ever been and keeps telling me that I must go and learn to appreciate it more.

I haven't been to a race and I usually watch it on television. i think I get a bit more out of it because I get to see the race from angles that I wouldn't be able to see there. It would be nice to attend one live though because I feel like i'm missing out on the excitement that you can only get by being there

There is a sense of excitement you get by actually being at the race, but you're right, you do get different angles on tv. It's still nothing like being there in person.

I prefer to watch at home on TV. I've been to a race and while I enjoyed it, there are just way too many people there for me to actually enjoy it. It's also harsh on the ears, even though that does get your heart beating!

I'm not sure. I like the rumble of the seats, the noises, and being mixed in the crowd, but I also hate having to deal with some of the rude people at the races. Some of those people really get on my nerves. If I had my own box seat I would like it a lot more!

I personally prefer to stay at home and watch the races on television. I just don't like the loudness that comes with being at the race live

I a definite at home watcher. I went to a live race a couple of times and it was so loud I thought I would go deaf. There are also a lot of people that get too carried away
