Does the weather the day of the race effect which drivers you bet on, or do you go with one driver regardless of the type of day it is?

Weather doesn't usually effect the way I bet on Nascar, but I suppose people do take it into account. There is after all many reasons why there are weather reports issued on race day.

It typically doesn't have an effect on how I bet, but I do have a friend who is constantly checking weather reports for the week to see what's going on during the race. Apparently he is very much into every factor effecting his picks.

Yeah, thanks for sharing that link. I don't really consider the weather or conditions when betting on Nascar but my girlfriend (she is also a better) always tells me that I should.

I think some try to take into anything that might effect how the race will end up, but think about it if its just a little rain and then its gone it shouldn't be that much of an issue or should it? I'm still poking around the cars, but I do enjoy watching them for sure. We get rowdy too!

I watched a bit of the Daytona 500 (the last 20 or so laps) but I just can't watch more than that, it just bores me watching the cars go round and round...

Just a little rain might not effect the race too much, but I'm sure it can have some effect on how the driver will do. Also, a lot of people are superstitious. You never know what makes some people bet certain ways.

I just thought of something else that the weather could do to effect the outcome of the race. Some people get into a funk when the weather is gloomy and it could effect the drivers focus!
