2. Jimmie Johnson +200 - - Like Gordon the odds on Johnson, who won the Goody’s Fast Pain Relief 500 last week, are very good. Johnson has won at the Texas Motor Speedway before.

3. Carl Edwards +150 - - Edwards dominated on this track last year when taking down both Sprint Cup races. But Carl has won 3 times at the Texas Motor Speedway. So, a Top 3 finish appears likely.

I don't play anything in NASCAR at +200 or worse. I'd look at Kenseth, after a few bad weeks I think he gets it turned around this week

I know I say this before every race, but it is about time Dale Jr's wins and this is his week. He finished 8th last race so he is getting closer.

Gordon, who will turn 38 years old this Aug. 4, broke a 47-race winless streak by winning at Texas.

It was his sixth consecutive finish of sixth or better this season.

Sunday's win also was the 82nd of Gordon's career. Only 5 guys in 60 years have won more.

Richard Petty, David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Darrell Waltrip and Cale Yarborough.

That is an impressive list to say the least
