NASCAR Betting - Kyle Busch’s Odds Keep Dropping

Kyle Busch is driving as well as any NASCAR driver I have ever seen. It’s amazing how well he’s doing. A single change of scenery, going from the Hendrick Motorsports Team to Joe Gibbs Racing, has done wonders for Busch.

All of this has added up to Kyle Busch being one of the shortest priced sports wagering favorites in the history of the NASCAR Cup Championship Series. For BetUS online sportsbook fans, making a wager on Kyle pretty much makes no sense at this point.



The online betting odds are just too low on the kid. There are other better online wagering opportunities out there on a number of drivers who still have a shot at winning this year’s Sprint Cup.

But Kyle Busch, because he has been so dominant, is still number one in the rankings.

NASCAR Cup Rankings

1. Kyle Busch - - BetUS online odds of + 150 - - Busch should win the Cup but will he is the question. The online betting odds make him an overlay at best. I just can’t recommend.

2. Carl Edwards - - BetUS online odds + 700 - - Edwards definitely has a chance to do some damage once the real chase begins. Roush Racing wants to win a Cup badly this year and who knows? Maybe, Busch’s car falls apart every week during the Chase? Probably not but the online wagering odds are much better on Carl.

3. Jeff Gordon - - BetUS online odds + 1200 - - At this point last year, Gordon was favored at 2 to 1. I can’t get past the BetUS online sportsbook odds which means I have to take a shot on Gordon in this spot.

4. Jimmie Johnson - - BetUS online odds + 650 - - Nothing to dislike about Jimmie, right? He’s won it two years in a row and the odds say that he’s going to make things very close once the real racing begins.

5. Denny Hamlin - - BetUS online odds + 1500 - - Hamlin was supposed to be the break-out driver on the Joe Gibbs Racing team this season, but Kyle Busch beat him to it. I still think Hamlin has a lot going for him. This is especially true since Tony Stewart bailed on Coach Gibbs. Hamlin could surprise.

6. Kasey Kahane - - BetUS online odds +1600 - - It appears as if they’ve got the car moving in the right direction and there’s no doubt that Kasey can drive. The question isn’t whether or not Kahane will win a Cup Championship, it’s when.

7. Clint Bowyer - - BetUS online odds +6000 - - If Bowyer makes the Chase, and I do believe he will, then we must remember that he can drive with pretty much anybody out there. He’s getting better; maybe even peaking. Because the online wagering odds are so high on such a good driver, I have to take a look.

8. Dale Earnhardt Jr. - - BetUS online odds + 500 - - Jr. is Jr. is Jr. I can’t endorse at 5 to 1 online betting odds. Heck, I’m not sure I can endorse because of the fact that he is on the same team as Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. If anybody on Hendrick wins the Cup this year, doesn’t it reason that it would be one of those two guys?
