The 2008 Sprint Cup Series season continues with the Toyota SaveMart 350 this weekend. The 10-turn, 1.99-mile road course at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California is expected to be a major challenge for drivers who are used to NASCAR’s customary long ovals and banked turns.
Jeff Gordon is favored to pick up his first win of the 2008 Sprint Cup Series season at the Toyota SaveMart 350 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California on Sunday (3:30 pm ET, TNT).
Gordon, ranked ninth in the Sprint Cup driver standings, is NASCAR’s all-time leader in road course wins with nine – five of them at Infineon.
