MLB Baseball Betting – Seattle Mariners at Oakland A’s
The Seattle Mariners, (8-8, 8-8 O/U), enter tonight’s contest against the Oakland Athletics, (9-7, 5-10-1), looking for their third consecutive win after beating the Oakland A’s 4-2 on Wednesday as I correctly predicted absolutely dead-on in the BetUS Locker Room yesterday.
After getting stymied by Mariners gifted right-hander Felix Hernandez on Wednesday in a complete game shutout, the A’s will look to touch up Mariners starter Carlos Silva (2-0, 3.27 ERA), but could have an equally tough task tonight as Silva has been ‘lights out’ in almost every start this season in his first year with the Mariners.
Silva gave up a whopping 11 hits in his last outing on Saturday, but held the Los Angeles Angels to three runs in eight innings of Seattle’s 8-3 victory.
"That's the way I pitch," said Silva, who walked one and threw 98 pitches. "I trust my defense and I don't like to walk people."
The A’s will send left-handed starter Lenny DiNardo, (1-0, 6.75), to the mound looking to repeat his performance from his last outing as DiNardo limited the Cleveland Indians to two runs on six hits in five innings last Saturday as Oakland won 7-3.
