Don’t be surprised if given how flawed every other team besides St. Louis is in the Central, the Reds hang with the pack.
Your thoughts on the Reds this year?

I like it. I'd definitely put the Reds above Milwaukee and the corresponding detritus below the Brewers, but I think it could be the Reds and Cubs in a dogfight for second in the division. Very close to call. Agreed that Cards take the division walking away.
Votto has really turned into a well-rounded offensive threat. I've always liked Brandon Phillips even though he's about as patient as Joseph McCarthy

Not exactly buying into the Reds limite hype. I think they are the Blue Jays of the NL. No matter what they do, they have the Cards and the Cubs to beat. Sure they have some nice players but as a team they are simply average.

The Reds picked up young Cuban lefty, Aroldis Chapman. Whether or not Champan can make any difference remains to be seen. They need Harang and Cueto to have a better 2010. They also picked up shortstop Orlando Cabrera in free agency and Scott Rolan at the deadline last year. Reds may pick up 75 wins this season.

Red has potentially the best rotation in the division which is why they can compete with the Cards. If Homer Bailey wins 14 games this year....look out.
