I know there is no betting angle here but I just read that the SF Giants just made Hensley Meulens (Bam Bam) their hitting coach. Dude batted only .220 in his brief major league career. Wasn't there anybody better out there? Is this really going to improve this lineup? Whose next Buddy Biancalana?

At least Big Mac had a career. I wouldn't have pegged him for a hitting coach either but if he tells you it is a good idea to hit it over the fence he can speak from experience. I could all day making a list of guys with more credibility than Bam-Bam Where is John Olerud when you need him? |
