If Hamels gets back to form and Lidge can close a game like he is capable, the Phillies bats will lead the way to a series win in 6 games.

I think Lidge is always going to be a bit on the edge but as long as he doesn't go Mitch Williams on the Phils they should be just fine.

Nobody knew how to live on the edge like Mitch Williams. I can still remember the '93 series when he gave everybody head fits even when they ended up winning.

The Phils need to take a 2-3 run lead into the 9th to avoid having the same drama with Lidge, although I agree he is no Williams.

I like the Dodgers in this series. Torre decides to go with Kershaw in Game 1. Hamels did not have a good outing in his start against the Rockies. Dodgers split at home taking Game 1. Dodgers in six.
