Mlb The race is on in the NL West

The Dodgers are still atop the divison and increased their lead to five games over the Rockies, by pounding the Reds yesterday 11-4. The Giants gained ground on Colorado by beating them 5-3 Saturday, pulling to within 1 GB of the Rockies for the NL wild card playoff spot. The Dodgers will take on the Reds today and the Giants will look to pull even with the Rockies when they face off on Sunday evening.

Things are heating up down the stretch in the NL West, with 32 games remaining.

Can the Dodgers clench the division? Can the Giants overtake the Rockies?

The NL West is still the Dodger's division to win or lose. Colorado and San Francisco are trying their best to make things interesting, but they are still basically battling for the wild card, as LA will still win the division

The real race here is going to be the Giants and the Rockies battling out for the Wildcard. The Dodgers know how to pull away as soon as things start to get to close, so I do not see either of these teams catching them
