    Baldelli on DL

Rocco Baldelli went on the disabled list, Jason Bay was still hobbled and the Boston Red Sox needed someone to play left field , so they chose Youkilis.

Does this affect the Sox in the stretch? They are 2.5 games out with 56 left.

Interesting...you can't really be surprised that Baldelli was on the DL. If youkilis becomes OF eligible that would be nice but he is probably more valuable in the infield.

Love Rocco but he is one of those players always nursing an injury.
