But Hallady stays put. Edwin Encarnacion was part of a package of three players the Reds gave up to acquire Rolen, along with right-handed reliever Josh Roenicke and a minor leaguer to the Blue Jays, who included cash to cover part of Rolen’s salary. What are your thoughts peeps?

I'm glad Toronto moved Rolen, he had been asking for a trade closer to home (for family reasons I think) and there's no doubting he's a ballplayer's ballplayer. Rolen was one of my favourite guys on the team and I'll miss him, but hopefully Encarnacion finds some pop that the Vernon Wellses and Alex Rioses of the world haven't been supplying.
