    1. Los Angeles Dodgers 56-32 ATS +1937
    2. Los Angeles Angels 49-37 ATS +1224
    3. Texas Rangers 48-39 ATS +1111
    4. San Francisco Giants 49-39 ATS +1068
    5. Boston Red Sox 54-34 +984 ATS +1137

    hard to argue with these top 5 teams isn't it?

    I would have to stick the Phillies and the Cardinals in there somewhere as they have as many wins as Texas and the Giants.

    How 'bout dem Texas Rangers. Good to see them in the thick of it all this season. The Rangers have built a deep system and it's payin' off.

    the Rangers and the Giants... big surprises for me but kinda cool to see them doing well. Really cool to see SF contending sans Barry Bonds

    Since the All Star break there is noboby hotter than the Phillies. I would put them right behing the Dodgers in the National League.
