Jerry Manuel has been suspended by MLB for aggressive arguing with an up on Thursday. I saw the play while watching the game. It was a bad call and Manuel should have argued. While arguing his hat bill hit the ump in the face...he deserves to be suspended 1 game.

Does this affect the Mets? I don't think it will really matter.

I just don't trust John Maine.

Paul Maholm has been struggling for the Pirates but he has the potential to shut down any offense in the league when he is on.

Maine has looked good and the Mets have opened up a 7-1 lead in the 6th. Pittsburgh's lone run came off the bat of Pitcher Paul Maholm which hit a HR on 1-2 count
