Jack Jones Free Picks for Monday

So I know I've had this disclaimer about the free picks being the weakest plays and that I don't play them, but I really put 1% of my bankroll on these games in comparison to 3-4% on the regular and BEST BETS.

Texas Rangers +111 over Cleveland Indians

I'm going with the Rangers today at home against the Indians. A lot of people are going to hate going against Cliff Lee the way he pitched last year for the Indians, but this guy was lit up in the spring for 46 hits and 33 runs in just 21.2 innings of work. I know the regular season is a different game, but I think those numbers are a sign that this year he won't be able to repeat his AL Cy Young numbers from a year ago. In 2007 he made 16 starts and posted a 6.29 ERA and in 2006 he was 14-11 with a 4.40 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. Basically I'm not sold he's made the jump so I'll take the potent Ranger line up this afternoon.

Free Pick Records:

CBB: 51-36
NBA: 26-32
NHL: 4-0 (+665)
CFB: 3-1
NFL: 4-1
MLB: 0-0 (+0)

I'm ready to bounce back after another tough 20* loss yesterday on the Spurs/Cavs total. That's two days in a row where a single point has cost us the money. Today's 20* comes in MLB action, where I also have an early 15* total and then my 15* play on the National Championship game between Michigan State/North Carolina. I might add a baseball play or two in there as I go along as well.
