Default MLB Predictions / Previews: Milwaukee Brewers

No amount of cuddliness can change the fact that the Brewers will take a step back in 2009, subtract CC Sabathia and Ben Sheets from the rotation and replace them with no one, no way you'll win 90 games...

Nice read. Agree that they can absolutely mash. The rotation is horrible. No way they contend for a playoff spot. If they can bring along some of the arms down on the farm lookout in a few years. That is if they can keep the young nucleus together.

Ya it was a good article...

This stood out for me! LMFAO...hahaha

Looking at the pitching staff on paper is enough to give you an ulcer.

Don't get me wrong, I like to watch him hit but what is the over/under on Fielders playing weight this year? 365?

I know I know, I am a realist though. I don't have them in the playoffs this year. But .500 or slightly better ball they can play.

Yo is a stud, he'll be there ace on the hill.
Suppan has pitched great the past month, I expect his best year since being in Milwakee.
Parra and Bush are both average, and Looper, well, I don't expect much from him.

Trevor Hoffman is still a great closer, I just hope he has the chance to close out some games.

They're going to score runs, just have to pray that pitching staff can rise up and play better than expected.
