In three of Dustin McGowan's last four starts, he has given up four runs or more. And remember, Toronto, which is not a team who scores a lot of runs normally (4.1 per game), has done so even less than usual lately, tallying three runs or less in four of his last five outings. Last time out, on Wednesday against Seattle, he surrendered four runs in six innings against the Mariners in what was a 4-2 Blue Jays loss.

With neither pitcher particularly effective, we must admit that we are tempted to go with the "over" here. But we don't necessarily have any confidence in either offense, so let's take a look at the dog here.
