In Lester's last 13 starts, he has had only one bad outing, when he gave up six runs in five innings against the Houston Astros on June 28. Even with that relative failure (which was an 11-10 Boston loss), Lester has had a 2.38 ERA in his last six outings. And he has a 5.4-to-1 strikeout-walk ratio during that time.
