The World Champion Boston Red Sox begin a three-game interleague betting series on Friday night against the Houston Astros. Boston starts their best pitcher, Daisuke Matsuzaka. Matsuzaka is a force. For online baseball betting fans he has been nothing short of a sports betting money machine this season. His record is 8 and 1. His ERA is 3.46. He’s coming off of the 15 day disabled list, but there’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll have his good stuff working on Friday night.



The Houston Astros counter with pitcher Runelvys Hernandez. There’s no telling how well Hernandez will pitch in this game since he hasn’t started a game since 2006. In 2006 Hernandez was awful with a 6.48 ERA. He gave up 22 home runs in the 21 games he started in 2006. With all of the other issues that the Astros are facing nowadays - - the losing streak, Shawn Chacon, etc. - - I doubt that Hernandez will serve as the Astros’ savior.
