| MLB Baseball Betting Weekend Series Three Pack Cincinnati Reds @ Cleveland Indians The battle of Ohio will begin on Friday night but this rivalry isn’t exactly Bengals and Browns. Even so, the three-game weekend sports betting series should have some added excitement as the two Ohio teams meet up. The pitching matchups will be interesting. The Reds will start with Daryl Thompson, who has one career start, Johnny Cueto and Bronson Arroyo. Although this will be Thompson’s second career start, he pitched five scoreless innings against the Yankees in his first start. Cueto, who will start on Saturday, has been tough to hit this year for teams facing him for the first time. Arroyo has been simply awful this year, posting a 4-7 record with an ERA of 6.52. He allowed 10 earned runs in one inning pitched in his last start. The Indians will counter with C.C. Sabathia, Paul Byrd and Aaron Laffey. The Reds will face two lefties and are 13-14 against left-handed pitching this year. The Reds are only 9-20 against teams with a losing record this year. Free Pick: Cleveland Indians Seattle Mariners @ San Diego Padres If you aren’t busy this weekend, take some time out to check out possibly the worst MLB series this year. The Seattle Mariners are the worst team in the American League and the San Diego Padres are one game better than the worst in the National League. But since they are at home, the Padres are the team to like in this series. The three Mariners pitchers – Jarrod Washburn, Carlos Silva and Erik Bedard – are a combined 3-11 on the road this season. Bedard is dealing with back spasms but is expected to make his scheduled start on Sunday. The Padres will counter with Randy Wolf, Cha Seung Baek and Jake Peavy. Wolf and Peavy pitch much better in the friendly confines of Petco Park, so the Padres should be able to take two of three in this series. The Mariners are 13-26 away from home while the Padres are 21-23 at home this season. Free Pick: San Diego Los Angeles Angels @ Los Angeles Dodgers The Los Angeles Angels actually lost a road game, if you can believe it. The Angels are 14-4 in their last 18 road games and now head to Dodgers Stadium for a local series. The Dodgers have collapsed over the last month. On May 26th, they were 26-24. Since that time, they are 10-18 and are 5-8 in their last 13 home games. The Dodgers were shutout in their last game and are only 1-5 in the following game. The pitching matchups will be are Joe Saunders and Chan Ho Park on Friday night, Jered Weaver and Chad Billingsley on Saturday night and John Lackey and Derek Lowe on Sunday. On paper, it looks like the Angels have the edge but keep in that this is the final three games of the Angels nine-game road trip and that might not be as sharp at the end of it.
