| BetUS MLB Betting Odds: Atlanta -140, Milwaukee +120; Total 9 The Milwaukee Brewers (42-34), currently on a roll, take to the field looking to continue their surge against the Atlanta Braves (38-40) in National League sports betting action that is set to begin at 7:10 PM ET at Turner Field in Atlanta. Right-handers oppose each other, as David Bush (3-7, 5.33 ERA) of the Brewers goes against Charlie Morton of the Braves (1-0, 4.91 ERA). At BetUS online sportsbook, Atlanta is listed as a -140 baseball gambling favorite (Milwaukee is +120), with a total of nine runs (the Over is -120, while the Under is even money). Here are some of the MLB Baseball betting trends as they relate to this sports wagering matchup: * MIL has won seven of its last eight games * MIL has played eight of its last 12 games OVER the total * MIL has won four of its last five road games * ATL has played six of its last nine games UNDER the total * ATL has lost five of its last seven home games * ATL has played five of its last seven home games UNDER the total In the HEAD-TO-HEAD sports betting trends: * MIL has won three of the last four meetings * ATL has won three of the last five meetings as the home team * Seven of the last eight meetings have gone UNDER the total Milwaukee has pulled to within a game and a half of St. Louis for second place in the National League Central. This has impact as far as the wild card race is concerned, because the Cardinals were the front-runners for that slot. Milwaukee has won seven of its last eight, and they blew Jo-Jo Reyes out last night after just 2-1/3 innings, while ace Ben Sheets went the distance in picking up the win. Atlanta fell two games under .500, and the Braves are 4.5 games in back of Philadelphia in the National League East. In his first five starts, David Bush was banged around pretty good, giving up 23 runs in less than 29 innings. he has put in some solid performances since then, and his last start was his best of the season, as he held the Toronto Blue Jays to a run and just two hits in eight innings. Six of his last eight starts have gone over the total. Bush's last two outings against the Braves have been solid. On May 27 he held them to six hits and two runs in seven innings, in a game Milwaukee won 3-2. Last year he faced Atlanta once, and yielded a single run in a seven-inning stint. Charlie Morton has had a couple of starts on the year, and with middling results. He made his major league debut on June 14 allowing three runs in six innings and getting the win. His second start went five innings, where he gave up three runs to the Texas Rangers. The tall (6'5") right-hander spent quite a bit of time in the minors, by today's standards anyway, having been drafted in the third round back in 2002. Atlanta has lost its home edge, dropping five of the last seven games they have played at Turner Field. Milwaukee is playing too well right now not to take a chance with the Brewers as the favorite, and we're not particularly interested in Morton here. We go with the Brewers, the +120 underdog in the BetUS Major League Baseball betting odds.
